Streaming problems can look like a stop-start picture or a blank screen with a loop in the centre of the video screen.
There are a number of reasons why this is happening but the two most common are:
There could be heavy Internet traffic on your network. This is common, especially on large, shared networks.
Try closing some browsers or disconnecting other devices that are using the Internet.
Slow Internet connection speed
The minimum connection speed for TVPlayer is 3 megabits per second for SD streams and 5 for HD streams. You can check your Internet speed on this website https://broadbandtest.which.co.uk/.
Try restarting your router. If there is no improvement then you'll need to contact your ISP.
The channel may be down and needs to be restarted by TVPlayer. Sometimes you will see an error message. We do our best to monitor the streams for all of our channels but it is really helpful when customers report them to us.
Have a look at some other channels on the TVPlayer app and see if they're working. If all the channels are not streaming properly then there's a good chance that it's an issue with your connection. It is very rare for us to have a complete systems failure across all of our channels.
If only one or a few channels are not streaming while other channels are playing with no problems then please let us know as soon as you can.
Please fill out this form on our Help Centre and select "Technical Issue - Channel Down". Be sure to let us know what channels are affected and what device you are using.
