Streaming/Connection Problems

If you're having issues with streaming on TVP for your Android Phone, try the following steps:
  1. Check that you are connected to the internet via a known Wi-Fi or 3G, you can check your wifi network by selecting Settings>Wi-Fi
  2. If on 3G, you may not have a fast enough connection to stream content and should try switching to Wi-Fi, or move to an area with a better signal.
  3. If on Wi-Fi, please confirm the Wi-Fi works by opening Chrome (or other browser) and load tvplayer.com. If this loads, please try to use app again.
  4. Please also try force closing the app:
  • Open the app
  • Press the back button on your phone until you see the message 'Are you sure you want to quit TVPlayer'
  • Press Yes
  • Reload the app
     5. Clear all data from the app
  • Open the app
  • Tap settings (top right)
  • Tap Clear Cache
  • Press the back button on your phone until you see the message 'Are you sure you want to quit TVPlayer'
  • Press Yes
  • Reload the app
