Why are you still trying to take money from my account if I cancelled my monthly payment?


If you cancelled your TVPlayer £5.99 payment by simply cancelling/ stopping the card being debited.
This is not actually cancelling the £5.99 monthly subscription. 
To stop the system keep trying to debit £5.99 monthly subscription payment a cancellation has to be made via the website in your TVPlayer account.

No further payments have been debited from your billing account since you cancelled the card payment.
